It is important to know how to clean a baby's mattress or a mattress topper properly to keep your baby healthy even when they are asleep. It is recommended to clean your baby's mattress once or twice a month.
Starting the Cleaning Procedure
Clean the memory foam mattress or mattress topper on a breezy, warm day to hasten drying.
1. Remove the covers of your pillow / mattress / topper for cleaning
2. Wash your pillow / mattress / topper cover
For washing machine: place the mattress or topper cover in a laundry net and safely wash with mild soap at permanent press cycle. Avoid using harsh or abrasive detergents.
For hand wash: soak the mattress or topper cover in a mixture of warm water and mild soap for 20 minutes.
3. Start to clean memory foam pillow / mattress / topper core
This will leave the mattress or topper foam smelling fresh and remove dust deposited. Flip the mattress or topper over and repeat.
Dip a clean white cloth into the detergent solution and gently rub from the outside of the stain toward the center. Keep moving to a clean area of the cloth as the stain is transferred. Once the stain is gone, dip a clean white cloth in plain water and blot to remove any remaining soap.
4. Let the pillow / mattress / topper air dry completely
